Installing Photoshop Actions – Windows

After you have installed the Photoshop Action, EXTRACT the file, so that you can view the ACT file.

Next, open up to the file path: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Presets\Photoshop Actions

Drag your newly downloaded Photoshop Action into that Folder.

sidenote to advanced users: To keep my actions organized, I created another folder specifically for Joon Actions.

Now Open Photoshop.

Go to Window > Actions to open the Actions Panel

Click on the Small Arrow at the Top Corner of the Actions Panel

Select Load Actions…

Now we’re going to Load our newly downloaded Action into that Panel.

Simply select the Action you would like to bring in, and click LOAD.

You’ve loaded in your newly downloaded Photoshop Action!

The only thing left to do is make sure that Action is SELECTED, then click the PLAY button and watch it go! Like magic!
